In october 2007 there had been a campaign to repeal section 377a of the penal code, which was introduced in 1938 to criminalise ‘gross indecency’ between men.
After an extensive refinement of the penal code, the parliament decided to retain the section, albeit not actively enforcing it.

The other day while driving I was accosted by some kids cycling around the car, and one of them kicked it. My instructor jumped out the car and they ran away hurling obsceneties. They need a slap.
