The new week as a surgical house officer has been hectic, so far seen a heap of stomas, pancreatitis, small bowel obstruction, and various other crude presentations. Problem is that i rummage through notes, numbers and papers more than through human organs. Hopefully I will get more efficient in the paperwork and get to do some fancy surgical art in theatres soon.

And to top the week off I got a pimple on my shoulder. Which i squeezed while talking to the ward clerk about her christmas plans and her new mac. I hope I don’t get cellulitis on my shoulder! Eep.
